Why does the logo need to be alterred?

The logos were originally designed in 1999. Since then the traveline service has developed. The internet and SMS channels are now much more significant. There is also increasing awareness of Disability Discimination Act issues.

The revised logos enable information about SMS, Internet and Phone services to be associated with the logo and the size of the text to be scaled independantly of the logo so that the size is of the text is always legible.

Can I continue to use the old logo?

Yes, if the old logo meets your needs and particularly if you want to quickly update an existing publication to the new telephone number. Download the old style logos with the new telephone number.
