PlusBus recommends Traveline for timetable information and have provided a briefing for use in Traveline call centres to help agents answer any enquiries about the PlusBus scheme.
NaPTAN data when downloaded now includes a file StopPlusbusZones.csv which lists bus stops that are in a plus bus zone and for each one the PlusbusZoneCode which ties the stop to a particular rail station.
In the National Gazetteer are files:
PlusbusZones.csv - gives a list of the PlusbusZone codes and the name of the rail station.
PlusbusMapping.csv - gives the map boundaries for each of the Plusbus zones.
It is now technically possible for the Traveline journey planners to identify if the bus stop in a journey itinerary is within a plusbuszone. The green plusbus circle logo could appear beside that bus stop name with a link to the correct page on the PlusBus website.
